Frequently asked questions
What is a per-site license?
A license is for one WordPress installation, identified by its address — with or without www, over http or https. If you change domain, you move it from the plugin itself.
What happens if I stop paying?
Pro keeps working until the end of the period paid for, then switches off. Everything that observes keeps working, your changes stay, and you can undo them. Subscribe again for the same site and you get the same license back.
Do I need an AI key?
Only for Pro's model features. You connect your own provider and your key is stored encrypted in your WordPress; it never passes through our servers.
Does Atelier send my data to Aquarelle AI?
No. Visits, the census and changes stay in your database. To check the license, the plugin sends the site's address and the WordPress, PHP and Atelier versions, and nothing else.
Does it work with my SEO plugin?
Yes. It reads and writes titles, descriptions, canonicals and indexing through Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO or SEOPress. With none of them, it manages them itself.
What if my site sits behind a cache or a CDN?
The page cache can be observed with the early observer. What a CDN answers before the request reaches your server cannot be seen from WordPress, and Atelier says so instead of making it up.
